DUNKIRK LITTLE SHIPS
"Endeavour" was one of 6 cockle boats from Leigh-on-Sea that went to Dunkirk in 1940 to assist in the evacuation of the British Expeditionary Force and performed heroically at that time.
She is now owned by the Endeavour Trust and has now been re-engined with a Lister Petter LPW4. In 2005 she successfully attended the "Little Ship Reunion" at Dunkirk

We are also proud and privileged to have been involved with the supply of 14 replacement lifeboat engines for Cunard QE2 in conjunction with Cardiff Craftsmen as the prime contractor.
As a result of test and engineering work carried out with Lister Petter and Cotswold Diesel Services, we have been able to produce propulsion units based on the Lister TR range of engines which meet the requirements of Lloyds and MCA for open lifeboats. As an added advantage, the engines are dimensioned to drop onto the existing bearers in place of the old Lister SR and ST units.
